Iqra is a Quran reading app for Apple platforms.

What we collect

Nothing. Iqra does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or any third party we control. We do not run servers that receive your data, and we do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

What stays on your device

  • Reading progress and last-read position
  • Saved verses
  • Prayer time location (used on-device to compute prayer times)
  • App settings

This data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, may be synced across your devices via Apple iCloud. We never see this data.

Location

If you enable prayer times, Iqra uses your device's location to compute local prayer times on-device. Location data is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

Third-party services

Audio recitations and Quran text are fetched from public APIs as needed. Apple's App Store and iCloud services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
