What Data We Collect

LynkChat AI does not require an account or collect personal information. All conversations and settings are stored locally on your device.

Data Shared with Third Parties

When you send a message, the App transmits the following to Google's Gemini AI service to generate a response:

  • Your message text
  • Any files or images you attach to the conversation
  • Prior messages in the conversation (for context)

This data is relayed through a backend proxy server. The proxy server does not store your messages or attachments and it exists solely to securely forward requests to Google's API.

How Your Data Is Protected

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • No conversation data is stored on our servers.
  • We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Google processes data sent to Gemini according to their own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data Retention

All conversation history is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting conversations within the App or by uninstalling the App.
